May God have mercy on us all.

I'm off for the rest of the week. I am sick.

Sorry for the double posting below. I didn't realize the first Garfield mention had made it through. Damn Blogger kept timing out on me.

Pope's 'Living Will' Wants Life Support to the End story on Yahoo. Interesting.

Will get to adding more St. Bloggers to the ring ASAP.

Blogger woes

Been trying since Monday to post a link to the Garfield strip that ran Monday. Anybody think it eerie? I know those things are drawn in advance, but it was so timely.

Is it me, or was Monday's Garfield a bit too timely? I know these things are drawn weeks in advance, but that kind of caught me there.

Wishing everybody a blessed Easter season, and prayers for the Schindlers. We've had a few new applications to the Ring, will get to them this weekend.

Schiavo Blog Search

Special thanks to Pat Sweeney for compiling this list of blogs with information/commentary on Terri Schiavo. I'll put it up top too for easy access.

I'd comment, but I'm afraid I'd violate the Tim Drake rule that recommends thinking before blogging. I'll concentrate instead on prayer.

Baby, up at four. Want her to sleep 'til six. Keep telling her six is the new four but she won't listen.

I'll have the latest list o'St. Bloggers up tonight. Patience appreciated. Babysitter even more appreciated.

Two from Oblique House

By way of Summa Mamas:

Ten things that I’ve done that I think my readers haven’t done...

1. I met the Captain of the USS Eisenhower
2. I sat on the lap of an Oscar nominee (the late Vincent Gardenia, who was the brother of my mother's cousin's husband. I was three at the time).
3. I had a novel published before I turned 30.
4. I judged the Peabody Awards as a student at UGA.
5. I performed as Janet for the Jax Regency Rocky Horror cast for a few weeks in college.
6. I met two-thirds of Rush.
7. I went to see Korn, Snoop Dogg, and Linkin Park in concert when I was eight months pregnant.
8. I went to my grandmother's 100th birthday party.
9. I met Rudy from the first Survivor.
10. I waited four hours to get Anne Rice's autograph.

There's a picture of me with Anne, too, somewhere.

List the first five movie quotes you can think of. They must be from different movies.

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room. - Dr. Strangelove

Bring out the gimp. - Pulp Fiction

What does God need with a spaceship? - Star Trek V

Is this Clarice? Hello, Clarice. - Hannibal

Put that thing back where it came from or so help me... - Monsters, Inc.

Neil Peart Cures Colic

Actually, he doesn't, but if he should happen to one day I hope he'll call. For now I have to be happy with watching "O Baterista" over and over and over and over because it's the only thing that keeps her quiet. To think I wasted nine months telling her in utero that Geddy is the cute one.

You Duped Me, Lord

Dad took Geneva for her shots; she held up better. She needs to gain more weight, despite eating all day. She eats and eats and doesn't gain weight. She is going to be so hated in high school.

Jeremy's...Iron?

Among the anagrams for me: Thy Navy Killer. Well, Daddy was a Marine...

Only some random number days until Genny goes to college.
